Great freedom to explore, experiment and learn new skills. We have approximately 1 acre organic, permaculture based garden under cultivation, with room to grow. Additionally we seek to include educational/spiritual programming associated with our garden for guests, visitors and community members.
The garden project has evolved and expanded over the past few years and has become a programmatic priority for EM We seek to create programs and workshops associated with the garden. In addition to the hundreds of guests who will visit the garden, the gardener will have the help and support of EM community members and volunteers.
We offer housing (a very basic cob house, which is very private) and meals, a budget that includes all garden expenses. Additionally there are options for an entreapuernal gardener to balance the needs of our kitchen with a possibility of selling some produce at local farmers markets or other ideas to financially support the gardener. While this is an unpaid intern position it could also include a stipend and health insurance depending on the candidate.
Details need to be negotiated.
