a Wild Edibles Walk
Wild edible and medicinal plants are available almost year-round in Syracuse (yes, some even in winter!). Come join Emily Alexander and Slow Food CNY at Oakwood Cemetery and learn basic identification, traditional uses and lots more about these common plants. You’ll never look at ‘weeds’ the same way again! Free and open to the public.
Meeting Location: Oakwood Cemetery (by the main entrance off of Comstock Ave)
R.S.V.P.: Please send an email to slowfoodcny@gmail.com if you’re planning on attending!
