Community Training in Ecological Design in Syracuse begins Sept. 10, 2011
Learn how to evaluate and design your land, home and community to become more healthy, productive, and sustainable.
The Finger Lakes Permaculture Institute, along with Cooperative Extension of Onondaga County and the Alchemical Nursery, invite you to our Community Training in Ecological Design Course beginning the weekend of September 10 and 11th and continuing for nine Wednesday evenings through November 9th.
Join us for a hands-on, 36-hour course that introduces you to a permaculture-based, ecological design method that will help you design your home, backyard, and landscape to provide for your needs and support ecosystem repair.
This is an ecological design course designed for both experts and novices. Whether you seek to conserve energy in your home, manage a patch of woods, grow a garden, or improve the use of a farm, this introductory course will teach a framework to design your work, land and resources.
Tuition is $200 to $400, based on what you think you can afford. Some scholarships may be available.
