Once known as Potrero Point, this rocky peninsula has 180 degree views of San Francisco Bay.
Across Warm Water Cove to the south is Warm Water Cove Park – public open space which has
already begun a transformation of sorts. To the north is the now-shuttered Potrero Hill Power
Plant, long a source of pollution. The smoke stack is a landmark that is visible from miles
in any direction – there are already plans to use it as an artist’s canvas as part of the
Blue Greenway.
