Biomimicry Events
Biomimicry is a new design discipline that studies nature’s biology and imitates these models to solve human design problems.
This program introduces the Biomimicry design process with examples of how we can learn from natural models, measures, and biological processes and employ them as mentors to solve all types of design and engineering problems more sustainably.
The goal is to help designers, engineers, architects, and business leaders meet sustainable design challenges; to create buildings, products, processes, and policies–new ways of living–that are well- adapted to life on Earth over the long haul by emulating nature’s time- tested patterns and strategies.
