Immerse in intentional community life and permaculture design practice for 2 weeks this summer. Conduct a design for your own client through a guided design process onsite. Gain college credits from UMass Amherst (optional) and a permaculture design certification. Enjoy the pond, sauna, gardens, natural buildings, and community at the Sirius retreat center! Course Tuition $1000, plus meals. Accommodations are available at Sirius Ecovillage. Early bird discounted tuition of $950 when registering before July 1st.
Sowing Solutions provides permaculture design services for home owners and land stewards and offers educational events for non-profits and communities in the northeastern US, leading 13 permaculture design certificate courses to date. Sowing Solutions has run courses collaboratively with Living Routes Study Abroad in Intentional Communities, Green Phoenix Permaculature, UMASS Amherst, Sirius EcoVillage, Dynamics Ecological Design, Living Mandala, and Omega Institute.
Sirius EcoVillage is a long-standing intentional spiritual community and retreat center, offering a special opportunity to step into daily life for 2 weeks at this wonderful place. Course schedule: This is a 72 hour requirement for the permaculture design certification, this course offers over 85 hours of training. (Note that the course completes on Friday August 9th, just in time for attendance at the NOFA Summer Conference Aug 9-11 in Amherst)
